Teeth In A Day
There are many reasons dental implants are becoming a very popular option for tooth replacement. When it comes to replacing teeth, all options basically fall into one of two categories: removable or fixed.
The two typical removable options are your everyday, basic dentures, and implant-supported overdentures. The former comes along with slipping, adjusting, and in turn, frustration. But the implant-supported overdenture is a more permanent denture. It’s anchored using 2-4 implants depending on the patient and has locator attachments for added stability.
Problem List
If you have multiple missing teeth or periodontal bone loss with a high decay rate, but you have anxiety when it comes to the dentist (as well as concerns about a potential infection), dental implants may be the right option for you. No pain is involved, and your bite will be restored. You’ll also be able to chew better. Finally, and most importantly, dental implants are a permanent solution; there’s nothing removable like traditional dentures are. They’re just like your natural teeth!

Why All-On-4 Is the Best Option for You
Did you know that more than 35 million people in America are missing all of their upper and/or lower teeth? Instead of living with the discomfort and maintenance of dentures, many people are opting for what is called full-mouth dental implant restoration. The All-On-4 treatment is a prosthodontic procedure that provides a permanent replacement for the entire upper and/or lower set of teeth with a bridge or denture. At the Center For Advanced Dentistry, we offer All-On-4 implants.
Just like the implant-supported overdenture, your teeth are replaced using 4 implants, but these use a permanent bridge instead of a denture. The bridge is screwed down to secure it in place, so you’ll feel like you can bite into anything once again! Fixed options are the closest thing you can get to natural teeth. There’s no removing them for cleaning; you brush them just as you would any teeth.
